The Tribe are a group of humans that plague the Sol System in the aftermath of the First Colony War.
Though small in number, they possessed
A Tribe spacecraft above Earth in Colony Wars: Vengeance
their own starships and fighter craft through which they terrorised ships within the star system. They eventually became a threat to the Colonial Navy prior to the start of the Vengeance Wars. Pilot Mertens was dispatched in his fighter to escort Colonial supply ships to Earth where they were ambushed by Tribe gunships that were ultimately destroyed by Mertens.
A number of cloaked Tribe fighters also began attacking Navy operations within the asteroid field that were mining for crystals. Further rogue Tribe attacks also hindered the Colonial Navy's attempts at bringing their Battle Platform operational which was essential in the breaching of the system Warp Hole.
