The Intelligence Corps is a division within the Colonial Navy who operated during the Second Colony War.
They were responsible for gathering information on enemy assets, movements as well as analysing technology for weaknesses. During the start of the Vengeance War, intelligence stated that the League of Free Worlds HQ was stationed in the Gallonigher System which proved to be false. In anger, Commander Kron had a number of intelligence agents killed for their incompetance. Later, the Intelligence Corps required a sample of Alien technology in the form of one of their fighters for study.
Drake was a member of the Intelligence Corps and thanked pilot Mertens for his assistance in retrieving an Alien fighter.
